A standard load of clothing or linen is about 5 kg when dry—roughly one full laundry basket. To keep colours looking their best, whites and darks are usually washed separately, even for smaller loads. If you’d prefer them washed together, just let us know.

For larger pieces like blankets and doonas, we price by space rather than weight. These items are assessed by how they fit in the machine, with sizing based on standard drum capacity—from single and double through to queen and king. As every item is unique, thickness and weight may vary.
